Beta-4, Fuel’s Fourth Public Testnet
We are excited to launch the beta-4 testnet, enabling public P2P access so anyone can run local nodes connected to Fuel. Fuel now reaches a crucial milestone on its way to Ethereum mainnet.
Q4 Grants Program Cohort
Fuel’s new grants program kicked off in Q3 and has been designed to support innovators eager to deploy their exciting ideas on Fuel. However, we’re aiming to make Q4 even better. As mentioned in our previous announcement, the program is a quarterly cohort model, allowing a select group of up to 10 projects to receive funding for a three-month opportunity to deliver an MVP using Fuels technology stack. By nurturing grantee projects and connecting them with prominent venture capital firms, we want to foster the Fuel ecosystem to realise its full potential.
Introducing Hybrid Proving
At the end of 2020, Fuel V1 deployed as a Layer-2 (L2) scalability technology on Ethereum. It was the first optimistic rollup, trail-blazing fraud proofs on Ethereum mainnet. Since then, the Fuel project has grown significantly on a path toward Fuel V2, our next-generation rollup architecture, now boasting more than 40 ecosystem projects, all with the aim of building the next era of decentralized applications on Ethereum.
