Fuel is excited to partner with OnlyDust for ODHack, an open-source competition where developers can contribute to Fuel’s growing ecosystem, with $15,000 in grants available for top contributors across ODHack 12 and 13.
This marks a significant milestone as Fuel opens its doors to public contributions for the first time, encouraging developers to enhance Sway and Fuel Station while shaping the future of Fuel.
The competition will feature two hackathon events:
ODHack12: March 20 to March 30, 2025
ODHack13: Late April 2025
Participants will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge blockchain projects, gain visibility in the developer community, and earn a share of the $15K in rewards.
Sway is a performant, secure-by-design language that's purpose-built for the next generation of blockchain applications. We built Sway from the ground up to solve common Solidity problems such as slow performance and security vulnerabilities. Sway catches exploits at compile time, and handles native assets without overhead, all with a Rust-inspired syntax that feels natural to write.
