Join the Fuel community in our first ever Sway dapp hackathon. Use the FuelVM-optimized Sway Language to build Decentralized Apps. This is your chance to create the next game-changing application on Fuel with up to $100,000 in prizes. The online hackathon will be weekend-long and will take place from May 27 until May 30, 2022.
Sway is a refined and expressive domain-specific language (DSL) targeting the Fuel Virtual Machine (FuelVM), a blockchain-optimized VM designed for the Fuel blockchain. It is heavily inspired by Rust and aims to bring modern language development and performance to the blockchain ecosystem.

The Beyond Monolithic Hackathon will take place online.
Up to $100,000 in prizes, paid in stablecoins.
Teams can be composed of 1 to 5 people.
Entrants must have submitted a valid entry registration form for the hackathon.
Accept the terms and conditions.
Your project must be a public open-source GitHub repository.
A pitch deck summarizing every feature of your project or a detailed readme file must be submitted.
A small demo video (max. 5 minutes). Recommended but not required.
You must submit your work before the deadline.
For the overall hackathon, we are looking for applications or developer tools that use the Sway language:
AMM/DEX, Lending, Yield Aggregators, Derivatives, Liquid Staking, etc.
DeFi protocols tools, Charting solutions, Dashboards, Analytics, developer toolkits, etc.
Multisig, MetaMask compatibility predicate, Eth signed data standard handler, Oracles, etc.
DAO projects
Other dapps must be approved by the team. You can open a ticket on our Discord server and submit your project there for approval.
